Lorraine’s Cleaning Tips

Never mix cleaning solutions.  For instance, bleach and amonia are deadly.  People have died when mixing these two chemicals.  Always check on the back of the bottle for danger warnings.  Also, make sure that you have plenty of ventaletion when using any cleaning products. 

Better yet, go “Green.”  Using vinegar, baking soda and a wide range of environment safe cleaning products on the market today just makes sense.  They work as well if not better that harsh cleaners and are safer.

You can spend a small fortune on expensive cleaning solutions.  You can spend pennines on window cleaner. Just buy a gallion jug of consentrated Zep Window Cleaning solution at Home Depot. You can make dozens of spray bottles full of the same solution that you purchase at the grocery store but at a fraction of the cost and it lasts for months. 

Better yet, just mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle and you have a wonderful “Green” window cleaner.  Non toxic and not tested on animals.
